Eligibility
NOTE: As of Fall 2006, students who can purchase the Student Health Insurance (even if they have waived it) are not eligible for coverage by Commonwealth Care programs.
You may be eligible for Commonwealth Care if:
- Your family's income before taxes is at or below 300% of the federal poverty level;
- You are uninsured;
- You are a U.S. citizen/national, qualified alien, or alien with special status;
- You are age 19 or older (*eligible persons under age 19 receive MassHealth benefits through MassHealth).
